Our Key Documents
As part of the NWDA's commitment to open Government and
freedom of
information, we aim to make available the widest
possible range of information regarding our activities.
Strategy
Regional Economic Strategy
The Regional Economic Strategy is the blueprint for the economic
development of England's Northwest.
Single Regional Strategy
The NWDA is working with 4NW to prepare a new single
Regional Strategy, which combines the Regional Economic Strategy,
the Regional Spatial Strategy and the Regional Housing Strategy.
This new strategy is called RS2010.

Planning
Business Plan & Corporate Plan
We publish an annual Business Plan and a three-year Corporate
Plan, which map out the ways in which we aim to achieve the
objectives set out in the Regional Economic Strategy.
Annual Performance
We produce three annual performance documents, which are
reported against the Business Plan and Corporate Plan.
The Annual Performance Report and Annual Report & Financial
Statements are sent to the Department for Business, Innovation
& Skills (BIS). The Annual Review is
produced for stakeholders, partnership organisations and interested
parties.
Regional Funding Advice
The Northwest formally submitted its advice on investment
priorities to the Regional Minister for the Northwest on 27
February 2009. The advice sets out the region’s priorities for
investment in transport, housing and regeneration, economic
development and skills for the period 2008/9-2010/11. The region’s
longer term priorities will be identified in RS2010.
All external documents we produce are included in the
publications section of
the website.
